Biography
I was born in 1971 in
Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 1981, my family relocated to
Houston, Texas, where we moved three more times before I graduated high school. After graduation, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy where I spent seven years being stationed and deployed throughout
Asia.
I have been creating art in one form or another for as long as I can remember. During my military tenure, I lost track of my passion for art. I moved to
Columbus, Mississippi in 1999 to fulfill a goal to get a degree and become an art educator. While there I met my wife, Wendy. She is my soul, and helped me to discover true passion for another person and rediscover my passion for art.
We (Me, my wife, our children) currently reside in
Southaven, Mississippi. I am an artist and a teacher at Riverwood Elementary Optional School in Cordova, TN. My work today reflects my passion for painting, figurative, abstract, and sculptural art. I hope that it is enjoyed as much as I enjoy creating it.
